APSR Medal

The Medal is awarded by the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) in appreciation for the awardee’s commitment to the advancement of respirology in the Asia-Pacific region, including major achievements in advocacy, teaching, clinical practice and leadership, enshrining excellence in respiratory research and research translation, and for the exceptional contribution made to the growth of the APSR.

Only one Medal is bestowed annually.

The Award

  • Travel grant
  • Three nights’ accommodation at a Congress-designated hotel
  • Complimentary Congress registration
  • Invitation to the Gala Dinner (or similar social event) at the Congress
  • Commemorative plaque, presented during the Congress’ Opening Ceremony

The Awardee

  • Must be an APSR member

Nominations:

  • Nominations should include an introduction (short curriculum vitae) together with reasons for the recommendation
