Early Career Excellence Award sponsored by APSR and an En bloc society

This award is generously provided by APSR and an APSR en bloc society to support the advancement of respiratory medicine. It is awarded to an APSR Young Investigator from the same APSR en bloc society who presents original work at the APSR Congress. It serves to spur on the next generation of respiratory medicine researchers.

The winning abstract is selected by APSR, with support from the APSR Assemblies and liaisons from the Local Congress Committee. Abstracts are evaluated anonymously by the relevant Assembly leaders and local liaisons, who rank them based on their novelty, importance, methodology, clarity, and overall quality, in accordance with APSR’s selection criteria. A consensus on the best eligible abstract is then reached through a rigorous judging process. Based on this outcome, APSR will select one recipient directly, and no application is required for this award.
