What do we do?
Mission
The Clinical Respiratory Medicine Assembly advances high-quality, patient-centered clinical respiratory medicine across the Asia-Pacific region. The Assembly promotes excellence through continuous professional development, collaborative research, and regional networking, while providing a platform for members to exchange clinical insights, address relevant practice challenges, and contribute to the development of APSR educational and scientific initiatives.

- Education, training, and lifelong learning in clinical respiratory medicine
- Evidence-based diagnosis and management of common respiratory diseases
- Tobacco control, smoking-related lung disease, and prevention strategies
- Rare, complex, and unusual respiratory conditions
- Emerging and re-emerging respiratory infections
- Clinical case reporting and publication
- Clinical and translational research that informs real-world respiratory practice
- Digital health and innovation, including AI applications in clinical care
Who should join
All APSR members with an interest in clinical respiratory medicine are welcome to join the Assembly. This includes clinicians, educators, and researchers who wish to develop and share knowledge, build professional networks, collaborate on research initiatives, and contribute to Assembly activities such as webinars, publications, and the annual APSR Congress Assembly Symposia.
