What do we do?
Mission
The aim of the Critical Care Medicine Assembly is to provide the up-to-date expertise in critical care fields and promote the cooperative research in the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to do this through networking, workshops, and expert discussions to improve the critical-care skills and knowledge for APSR members.
Interests
- The Assembly promotes collaborative Asia-Pacific investigative efforts in relevant research, guidelines, consensus and therapeutic protocols in critical care fields with other APSR Assemblies and global societies.
- Advances in critical care practice
- Sepsis and ARDS
- Overcoming MDR pathogens infection in ICU
- Promoting and encouraging young investigators to present relative research in APSR congresses
Who should join
All APSR members who are interested in the field of critical care medicine and are keen to develop and share knowledge and ideas, build networks, collaborate in research projects and submit topics for the APSR annual Congress Assembly Symposium, are welcome to join. The current leaders of the Assembly are Dr Kuang-Yao Yang from Taiwan (Head), Dr Tatsuma Fukuda from Japan (Head Elect) and Dr Kiyoyasu Kurahashi from Japan (Deputy Head).
