OUTLINE
The WINGS Launch Webinar marks the official introduction of the Women’s International Network in Global Thoracic Science (WINGS) and its first collaborative activity across global regions. This webinar brings together women leaders from five major international respiratory societies—ATS, ERS, PATS, APSR, and ALAT—to discuss the current status of women’s participation and leadership in thoracic medicine worldwide.
Panelists share insights on regional challenges and successes, highlight common structural barriers, and explore practical opportunities for cross-society collaboration. The session also outlines the mission and goals of WINGS and presents a roadmap for joint actions to advance equity, mentorship, and leadership development in global respiratory health.
