APSR Clean Air Research Award

We are pleased to announce the availability of two new APSR Awards:

1. APSR Clean Air Research Award (see Call for papers below) for the most outstanding original research paper on Clean Air published in Respirology in the year preceding the APSR Congress,

and

2. APSR Clean Air Congress Abstract Award (see Congress Abstract Award) for the best selected Congress abstract on the topic of air pollution or tobacco smoking or control.

These awards were initiated by Dr Yoichi Nakanishi (President of the APSR 2020-2021).

The Award

  • US$1,000 presented to the paper’s first author.
  • Award certificate (prepared by the Respirology Editorial Office) presented during the Gala Dinner at the Congress to the first author.
    ・The certificate will be in the name of all the paper’s authors.
  • Invitation to the Gala Dinner or similar social event.
    ・Invitation for the first author only or their representative.
    ・The Award does not include the cost of Congress registration, travel or accommodation.
  • News announcement in the APSR Bulletin and social media.
  • Long-term recognition on the APSR website (see below) and Respirology website.
